It was my parents 4th anniversary today-what better way to celebrate than going to the State Fair!? My Mom was well prepared with a bag full of dipers,wipes,backup outfits, 3 different blankets (1 for burping,1 for shade on the stroller, 1 for on top of me), water,her camera, etc...We were only 2 minutes in when they realized she forgot to pack my bottle! In true "white-trash" State Fair form we had to breast feed!

On Sunday I was baptised at Elim Luthern Church in Robbinsdale. I didn't even cry-even though my parents were certain I would...where's the FAITH? It was a beautiful service and afternoon! My Godparents Brian and Danice Elhard have been Sperstad fans for many years...Brian was home from Iraq on a 2 week leave-it was the first time we met! And my Godmother Danice did a fabulous job getting me to sleep (and quiet) right before I had to be in front of the church!

I Am 2 Months Old!

2 months already! And I just keep getting better! I smile all the time now-especially at my Dad. (And it is not just gas smiles!) I am still wearing New Born size clothes. I sleep in my crib or bassinet everynight and last week I was sleeping 5-6 hours at a time-not every night though! I like having white noise to sleep and it drives my Mom nuts that the bouncy chairs and swings with all the different noises and songs never just play "white noise"!! My parents can't have it too easy, right?! I've just recently decided bathes aren't so horrible anymore-I think my "first time Mom" may have been making them too cool at first! They're SLOWLY getting the hang of things...poor first born children!

A Week At the Cabin

We spent the week up at the cabin just the 3 of us (plus Buster) since the weekend before we were so busy making sure I visited family that no one really relaxed-or fished! It was a great week for weather! My Dad was able to get some work done on his boat and Mom and I bummed around in our cute bathing suits!

Soooooo Big!

My 8 week check up was today! I weigh 9lbs 4oz! I am Soooo Big!

Dr Dessie checking me out! I was really well behaved but I got 3 shots anyway! They did put a cute picture of me up on the wall in the office! It was put in the highest corner of the bulletin board too-so everyone could see me! (They want to make sure that the cutest baby is represented for my Doctor!) After some soothing from Dad and Mom and some baby tylenol I was ready to get home!

1st Visit to the Cabin

My 1st visit to the cabin was especially special because I met my Great Grandma Sally for the first time!

We all cheered Grandma Deb on in the Dragon Races on Lake Minnewaska. It was her second year competing and her team "The Swamp Donkeys" placed 3rd over all. There were over 700 people racing this year so we were very impressed! It was kind of a dreary day so I spent most of the time snoozing in the stroller!
