New Shoes

My Mom had a coupon for Black Friday at her favorite children's store in Maple Grove-Edelweiss Baby-so she had to buy these squeaky shoes!

I Am 17 Months Old!

I say "Cheeeese" now...with a little crazy smile!

Yes, that is me with nail polish! My Mom hasn't painted my nails yet though! I am 17 months now and I am a total chatterbox! This week we are working on Thank You! (My Mom was very impressed and a little jealous of Mikko's manners!) I love to smile and laugh. Music makes me dance-some days more graceful than others! I get around very well. I enjoy running, spinning, climbing, and wrestling. I LOVE playing with my dog Buster-he is so tolerant of my abusive play time! Beware smaller dogs-I wrestle with a 75 pounder! I still take 2 naps most days. My parents love watching me and are totally entertained by my silliness!

3 Night Visit to Arizona!

Dad has been working in Chandler AZ. Even though we didn't have a lot of time-we still had to visit Dad to break up the long month he has to be there! Very early on Saturday morning Dad picked us up and we headed straight to Sedona for the day! We stopped at Red Rock Trail and hiked down to a beautiful spot!

I ate a whole plate of pasta in Flagstaff where we spent the night!
We headed to the Grand Canyon on Sunday morning and spent most of the afternoon there!

This trail was almost straight up-fun with a stroller!
A little bit of curb side wildlife
The Canyon-it's impressive how preserved it is but still be free to roam and explore!
Beautiful drive back-we were surprised how green Arizona is! Dad loved the snow capped mountain in the "desert"Coconino National Forest was huge and gorgeous! (My parents' new nickname for me is "Coconino"-just because they like saying it!)
Monday we swam at the hotel in Chandler where Dad is working/staying.

We met my Great Aunt Sandy for dinner in Pheonix at a western restaurant called Bill Johnson's Big Apple!
Jack 10 years old and Lucy 4 years old are two of Sandy's grandkids! They were so sweet and hilarious-so glad we got to meet them!
They faught over who got to carry me around! My Mom said it was fine unless they made me cry...uh oh!
Our trip was very fast but worth every second! It was hard to leave Daddy behind, but he will be home in time for Thanksgiving! We understand the hype over Arizona now-it is a beautiful state and we would love to visit again!
